Last week our neighbor decided to cut down the largest tree that dominates the view in our back yard. Don’t know why, doesn’t matter as it was just on their property so they controlled its existence. I miss it very much. It was a beautiful 30 some foot tall cottonwood tree that had the most wonderful soothing sound when the wind blew through the leaves. It was a shock to see the hole in the sky that normally was filled with green leaves. It’s very sad; all that is left are two ugly stumps about 5 feet tall.
