I went fluke fishing in the ocean on an all-day fishing charter with my brother-in-law Rob and discovered I'm not much of a sailor. Something about rocking around on ocean swells and staring down into the water that makes me turn green. I did end up recovering enough to catching the only fish we could keep (they had to be at least 17 inches long) - a few people were catching some very interesting things and much larger fish! It was interesting but I can honestly say I'm not in a big hurry to try it again anytime soon. They also have whale watching tours but I think I would have the same problem.

I'm back from a week in CT- of listening to kids sing silly camp songs and two 11-year old girls who have no volume control - the more excited they get, the louder they get. ( Mackenzie had a friend stay for the week ). Liam is starting tackle football in a few weeks and was SO VERY PROUD of his first "cup". Truly hysterical to witness this 8-yr old's right of passage. I don't know how working parents keep it together - children are exhausting!

Lots to do and see in the area Tam & Rob live. Great place to visit! Stonington is my favorite place although the narrow twisty, over-grown strips of pavement they call roads will test your knowledge (and nerves) of where your car's edges are.
